Entry Restrictions

Entry is only open to persons who at the time of entering the promotion:

a) are residents of Victoria;

b) are aged 18 years or older;

c) are not an employee, or related to an employee, of the Promoter or one of its agencies connected with this competition ; and

d) have not had their motor vehicle license previously suspended or cancelled in the two years prior to date of entry or have more than five demerit points in the last five years.

The Promoter will collect and use your personal information such as name, photo image, phone number, address, email, gender, age, postcode for the purpose of participating in the Competition only.  If you don't provide all or part of any of the information that the Promoter requests during the competition process, then the entry may be invalid.

The Promoter will provide your details to Bolster Presents Pty Ltd who are assisting the Promoter run this competition.  The Promoter will not disclose your information to anyone unless required by law. Once any personal information comes into the Promoter’s possession, it will take reasonable steps to protect that information from misuse and loss, and from unauthorized access, modification or disclosure.  If you have any questions about how your personal information will be handled or would like to gain access to your personal information, you can contact the Promoter at askus@tac.vic.gov.au. Any personal information you supply to the Promoter is protected by the Privacy & Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic).

Promotion Period

The Promotion starts at 5pm (AEDT) on Tuesday 23 May 2023

The Promotion closes at 9am (AEDT) on Monday 29 May 2023. No entries will be accepted after this time.

Verification Requirements

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants. The Promoter may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose and a prize may be withheld unless and until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification.

Prize Details

The first two valid entries drawn will provisionally win the Prize containing:

2 x double general admission ally passes to Treaty Day Out Naarm/Melbourne 2023 (Collectively, the Prize)

Prizes are valid until the date specified on the voucher or by the provider, and are subject to the terms and conditions stipulated by the provider.  Once awarded, the Promoter is not liable for any voucher that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way.

The prize is non-transferable and no cash or other alternative will be offered.

The Promoter reserves the right to substitute an alternative prize of at least equal value if circumstances makes this necessary.

Notification, Verification & Delivery

The provisional winner will be notified by email to the email address provided on their entry form. The notification email will include details on how to verify their entry.

The potential provisional winner must consent to the Promoter seeking from VicRoads and VicRoads providing to the Promoter details of their driving history for the purposes of confirming whether they are an Eligible Entrant. The potential provisional winner must supply their full name, date of birth and postcode to enable a licence check to be completed. On successfully passing the licence check, the provisional winner will then be notified that they have won.

If the provisional winner complies with these Terms and Conditions and the Promoter verifies and accepts the entry in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter will deliver the prize to the address provided by the entrant at the time of entry or via the notification and verification process within 28 days of the prize being awarded.

The Promoter takes no responsibility for an incorrect address being provided when entering the promotion or during the notification and verification process, and (once dispatched), the Promoter is not liable for any prize that has been lost, stolen, damaged or tampered with in any way.

Publication Details

The winner’s name will be published on the Vanessa website https://www.vanessabus.com.au/competitions/competition-winners page within 5 days of verification of the winning entry.

It is a condition of entry that your entry, first name or nickname can be used for any necessary promotional releases, promotional materials and within social media channels.

You agree to allow the Promoter to post your name as part of the winner announcement promotions.

Prize Claim Date

The prize must be claimed by 9am (AEDT) on Thursday 1 June 2023. If the prize remains unclaimed after this time, an unclaimed prize draw will be conducted.  The Promoter will not be responsible for any inability of a prize winner to take up the specified prize.

Unclaimed Prize Arrangements

The winner of the unclaimed prize draw will be notified by direct message via the Instagram account provided on their entry. The notification email will include details on how to verify their entry.

Additional Terms

This promotion and all issues arising out of it shall be governed in accordance with Victorian law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Victorian courts.
